Art Workshop at the Museum Barberini for adult people
Edvard Munch – Humans and their Landscapes
The human figure in its relationship to nature plays an important role in Munch’s oeuvre. He often depicted one or more people in a landscape (Girl on a Bridge) – including himself (Self-Portraits). The workshop takes up this theme and is dedicated to its pictorial realization. Please bring three photos of people in nature – some from a closer range, others with more distance. Your own creations will emerge from an examination of Munch, who also worked with photographs. A guided tour of the exhibition will take place before the workshop in the studio.
