Urania Planetarium Potsdam meets Museum Barberini

This special combined tour opens with an astronomer’s look at the sky, our sun, and other stars. Simon Plate, director of the Urania-Planetarium, will carry you into the cosmos, presenting our home star and solar system with the help of cutting-edge projection technology. An hour later, after making your way individually to the Museum Barberini, you’ll be greeted in the Auditorium by art historian Peter Eurlings, who will introduce you to the sun as a motif in European art from antiquity to the present.
