Sold outThe astronomical view of the sky, our sun and other stars is the prelude to this special combined tour.On a tour of the Telegrafenberg, Ludwig Grunwald and Stefan Röser give an overview of buildings, history and current research. Highlights of the tour include the 20-meter-high Einstein Tower designed by renowned architect Erich Mendelsohn - a solar observatory intended to confirm an effect of Einstein's theory of relativity - and the Great Refractor, inaugurated in 1899 and still the fourth-largest refracting telescope in the world, which can be visited.
