Join in the celebrations at the Potsdamer Mitte Culture Festival on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Whether outdoors or behind the scenes – a diverse, free programme will take place at over 20 venues throughout Potsdam.

Like painting for everyone on the “Art Meadow” in Sanssouci Palace Park, a storytelling theater in the City and State Library, expert tours of the historic court nursery in Babelsberg Palace Park, an animation workshop at the Film Museum, audio tours of the Lindenstraße memorial, family tours at the Natural History Museum, puzzle sheets and a craft workshop for young and old at the Potsdam Museum, an exclusive music performance at DAS MINSK, telescope observation of the sun with the URANIA Planetarium, a printing workshop and a tower quiz at the Garrison Church, an interactive activity at the Kunsthaus sans titre, drumming for families, a cultural picnic on the Alter Markt and much, much more!

With free admission to the Hasso Plattner Collection, there will be a diverse programme of Yoga, workshops, lectures and more.

Programme at the Barberini (all events are held in German):

10 a.m.–7 p.m.: Free admission to the Museum Barberini (last admission at 6 p.m.).

10 a.m.: Yoga for all with Sandra Lange in the museum courtyard: 60-minute session on Impressionism and nature (please bring your own yoga mat, will be canceled in case of rain)

11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m.: Art in the Baberini Museum: 45-minute introductory lecture in the auditorium

12 a.m.– 4 p.m.: Open studio: create your own works of art in the museum courtyard (in the studio in case of rain)

Culinary offerings from Café Barberini (subject to a fee) round off the program.
