The Museum Barberini invites you to its Open House on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Enjoy free admission to the exhibition The Honest Eye: Camille Pissarro’s Impressionism and explore 115 masterpiecesfrom the renowned Hasso Plattner Collection. A varied program is also on offer:
10 a.m.–7 p.m.: Free admission to the Museum Barberini (last admission at 6 p.m.)
Background:
10 a.m., 12, 2, 5 p.m.: Videos about the exhibition and the collection (auditorium)
11 a.m., 1, 3, 4 p.m.: Public introductions to art for all (auditorium, 45 min.)
Experience:
12, 1, 5 p.m.: Reading with René Schwittay (Hans Otto Theater) from Pissarro's letters
1:45 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 3:45 p.m.: Piano concert with Katharina Sattarov (Julius-Stern-Institute of the UdK Berlin): Maurice Ravel, Sonatine (auditorium)
Participate:
12–4 p.m.: Open studio for all (courtyard, in the atelier in case of rain)
Culinary offerings from Café Barberini (subject to charge) round out the program.
You do not need a ticket for admission, but we ask kindly for your understanding that only limited admission contingents are available and therefore there may be waiting times at the entrance.
