Digital Accessibility Statement

The museums of the Hasso Plattner Foundation gGmbH are committed to ensuring accessibility in their online presence and mobile applications. A digital accessibility statement is legally required by the Barrierefreie Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik Gesetz Berlin (BIKTG Bln). The technical requirements for accessibility are defined by the Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

A technical review of accessibility is currently being conducted by the museums of the Hasso Plattner Foundation gGmbH in a self-assessment process.

There are some deficiencies in accessibility, including lack of alternative texts for images and graphics, availability of content in German Sign Language and Easy German, and barrier-free PDF documents. We are working to address existing accessibility issues as quickly as possible.
