The HPI Maker Universe in Potsdam is an innovative space with endless possibilities for creative work. Together with Maker Universe, the Museum Barberini offers exciting workshops at the interface between art, design and digital tools. A tandem of professionals from the museum and Maker Universe will guide you through the workshops and give you inspiring insights into how art can be combined with modern technologies and used creatively. You can take your own creations home with you.

Create your own Designs for shirts, tote bags and other textiles (with heat transfer vinyl)
In this workshop, create an abstract and original design inspired by the pictures in the Barberini Museum. Using a vinyl collage technique, you can upcycle your T-shirt or other textiles into something special and unique that also makes a great gift.

What language does AI need?
In this workshop, AI is used as a creative tool to transform personal associations and emotions into new digital images based on the art in the Barberini Museum. Participants learn how targeted prompting works to ensure that the results meet their expectations. Participants will deepen their understanding of art while exploring the possibilities and limitations of AI. Image-to-image and text-to-image transfers will be used experimentally.

Costs:
Participation is free for HPI students. For all other participants, the workshop costs €20. Tickets can be booked via the museum's website.
