Museum Barberini meets Liebermann-Villa

This combined tour connects two important locations in German Impressionism and opens up new perspectives on the life and work of Max Liebermann.

From 10 to 11 a.m., the Barberini Museum in Potsdam will host a guided tour of the exhibition Avant-garde. Max Liebermann and Impressionism in Germany. The tour will focus on Liebermann's role within the artistic avant-garde and his significance for the development of German Impressionism in the European context.

Afterwards, participants will make their own way to Berlin-Wannsee.
From 2 to 3 p.m., the tour continues at the Liebermann Villa on Lake Wannsee. The tour includes the museum, Liebermann's studio and the garden, providing a direct insight into his life and work.

Guided tour €10 plus admission to both houses.
Admission to the Liebermann Villa can be paid for online or on site.

Note: Workshops (Holidays with Art) for children and teens are also offered in cooperation with the Liebermann Villa on Lake Wannsee, Berlin.
