The Barberini in German Sign Language
Here you can find information about the Museum Barberini in German Sign Language. We currently offer tours and introductions with sign language interpreters. Videos on our free Barberini App are subtitled in both German and English.
Online or Phone Tours for the Blind and Visually Impaired
Experienced museum guides describe and explain selected works of art for blind and visually impaired guests. In a Zoom meeting, either by phone or on your computer, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss art with our guides, enabling you to experience the works without visiting the museum. In cooperation with “Bei Anruf Kultur” the Museum Barberini offers phone tours on art.
Group-Specific Programs
The Museum Barberini offers tours and introductions for the deaf and hearing impaired (with sign language interpreter), the blind and visually impaired, and the cognitively impaired, as well as tours in Easy German.
All offers can be requested and reserved through the visitor service. When booking a group, please indicate any special needs and requests to help us tailor the experience specifically to your group:
