Then, in the workshop that follows, you can bring your own creative ideas to life with the help of experienced guides. Whether you create your personal work of art with a brush, pen or digital tools, you can take it home with you.

Painting like Monet
In Giverny, Claude Monet found a place where he could devote his full attention to the interplay of light, water and colour. On a guided tour of the exhibition, you’ll discover the artist’s world and the people who accompanied him on his journey. Afterwards, in the Atelier, let the Impressionist influences inspire you to create your own compositions.

Painting like Morisot
Berthe Morisot was one of the most important female painters of the Impressionist movement – in her harbour and river scenes, she captured fleeting moments of light, water and atmosphere. Discover her works and her place amongst the Impressionists. In the Atelier, you’ll learn about Morisot’s painting style, experiment with brushes and paint yourself, and create your own picture.

Painting like Renoir
‘I want my red to sound like a bell’: Pierre-Auguste Renoir knew how to use colour to create special effects. Standing before his works, you will discover how warm and cool tones interact and how light and atmosphere are created by placing patches of colour side by side. In the Atelier, you’ll learn about Renoir’s distinctive painting style, experiment with colour yourself and translate your own impressions into paintings.
