100 Masterpieces from the Kyiv National Art Gallery
Many museums in Ukraine remain frequently closed at the moment, leaving their artistic treasures inaccessible to visitors. The Kyiv National Art Gallery, one of Ukraine’s oldest and most renowned art museums, is now making selected works from its collection accessible to a global audience — in collaboration with @icom_germany, the International Council of Museums, a global non-governmental organization dedicated to the research, preservation, care, and communication of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
Visitors can explore the exhibition "100 Masterpieces from the Kyiv National Art Gallery" online and discover more about the artworks — ranging from icon painting and 19th-century masterpieces to works by the "Wanderers" movement and contemporary Ukrainian art.

German Federal President Steinmeier supports the project. The Museum Barberini also endorses the ICOM initiative. We welcome and encourage other museums to recommend and share this online exhibition as well!
