A new event format! The Barberini Get-Together brings together art history and the present day: in a relaxed atmosphere, the Museum Barberini offers free admission, drinks at the bar, live electronic music in the foyer, and a special program.

Get-together 3.0
On Thursday, October 8, Museum Barberini invites you to its third Barberini Get-Together from 5 to 10 pm — with extended opening hours and free admission!
Inspired by the vibrant color worlds of Paul Signac in the current exhibition Symphony of Colors. Paul Signac and Neo-Impressionism, the evening explores color theory, neurodivergence, visual perception, Pointillism, and other fascinating perspectives on how we see and experience art.
Look forward to an evening of art, exchange, and a diverse program: Slow Art Tours by the Barberini Art Club, a behind-the-scenes talk by our curatorial assistant Julia Keinath, a lecture on synesthesia and color perception by Maike Preißing, drinks at the bar, and live music by DJs Miszo & Abla!

On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, the Museum Barberini invited you to its second get-together from 5 to 10 PM.
The evening was centered around the exhibition Avant-Garde: Max Liebermann and Impressionism in Germany, using it as a starting point to explore themes such as identity, visibility, urban life, and digital culture.
Slow Art Tours were hosted by the Barberini Art Club, short films from the International Student Film Festival Sehsuechte, talks by young curators, a concert performance took place by Jeannel, drinks at the bar, and live music from DJ Miszo & Amelie Kahl ensured an extensive programme!

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, Museum Barberini hosted its first-ever Get-Together from 5 to 9 pm. With extended opening hours and free admission for students, around 650 guests took the opportunity to network, connect, and explore the Impressionist collection—making the event a great success right from the start.
With live electronic music by DJ Miszo, Slow Art Tours and Creative Writing Sessions hosted by the Barberini Art Club, drinks at the bar, and much more, the winter semester 2025/26 was kicked off together in style!
