Groups who book a guided tour or workshop through our Visitor Service are eligible for a reduced admission fee of € 10 per person. The number of participants can be altered free of charge up to 14 days in advance.
Please note that tours with an outside guide are not permitted.

Guided Tours
Experience the more than 110 French Impressionist paintings in the Hasso Plattner Collection or the masterpieces in the current special exhibition together with an experienced guide. In groups of no more than 20 people, you can ask your guide questions and enjoy conversation about art. Guided tours are available in German, English, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish. They are also offered in sign language, in Easy German, and as a tour for the blind and visually impaired.
Duration: 50 minutes

Introductory Lectures
The Museum Barberini offers introductory lectures for groups in the auditorium. In a digital presentation, experienced art educators offer an overview of the current exhibition or the Impressionism collection. Afterwards, an individualized tour of the museum is possible.

Workshops
Get creative and make your own art, inspired by the works in the Museum Barberini! First, in a guided tour of the museum, your group will explore the permanent collection or the current special exhibition. Then, in a workshop, you’ll have a chance to develop your own artistic creations under the guidance of experienced facilitators. Workshops are available in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, and Ukrainian, and can also be customized for participants with special needs.
Duration: 120 minutes
Cost: € 150 per group plus € 10 admission per person
Online Tours
Experience a live online tour of the current exhibition or the French Impressionist collection, with full and detail views of the works of art. During the virtual 360-degree tour, participants can converse with the guide or simply listen. Whether for a private celebration or a company incentive, you can offer your guests an interactive, shared cultural experience in digital form.
Online tours are available in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, or Russian.

Barrier-Free
The Museum Barberini offers tours for the deaf and hearing impaired (with sign language interpreter), the blind and visually impaired, and the cognitively impaired, as well as tours in Easy German. When booking your tour, please indicate any special needs or requests to help us tailor the experience to your individual wishes.

Offers for Retirement and Nursing Homes
The Museum Barberini will come to you! Since museum visits are not always possible for groups from retirement and nursing homes, the Museum Barberini now offers tours in the comfort of your own institution. In a digital presentation, a guide will lead you through the exhibition, showing the works of art in high resolution and sharing the stories of the pictures.

Venue Rental
The Museum Barberini offers a unique setting for your company event, customer incentive, private party, or social gathering after a meeting or conference. The exhibition spaces can be rented for your exclusive use along with the foyer, auditorium, Atelier, Barberini Studio, and inner courtyard.

Walking Tours
Italy, France, and Holland in Potsdam: three audio tours on the free Barberini App take you out of the museum and into the city. With the voice of Günther Jauch as your guide, discover the many buildings and works of art created in Potsdam in the 18th and 19th centuries based on Italian models. Learn more about the French influences that have shaped the city over the centuries, or be surprised by the many connections to Holland in the Brandenburg state capital. The city tours are also available as a printed guide in the museum store.

FAQ
Offers for groups can be booked through our visitor service. When booking, you must specify whether the event is to be held for the Hasso Plattner Collection or for the current temporary exhibition. A billing address is also required.
The maximum group size for guided tours of the collection or our temporary exhibitions is 20 people. The number of participants can be changed free of charge up to 14 days before the event. For larger groups of up to 50 guests, exclusive introductory talks can be booked in the museum's auditorium. More information can be found here.
The price for a booked group tour or an introductory lecture in the auditorium is 105 euros plus 10 euros admission per person. Reduced prices apply in general for groups of 10 or more without a guided tour or lecture.

All products booked through the Visitor Service, including group tours and introductory events, are paid for on account. Payment on site at the museum box office is not possible.
