The museum remains open this week with the Impressionist collection on view. To prepare for the exhibition opening, the Barberini will be closed from June 29 through July 3, 2026.

Children Explain Art: Monet's Grainstacks

In a series of videos, the Barberini Kids present their favorite paintings from the Museum Barberini's Impressionist collection. Here, Tom presents one of the collection's many masterpieces, Monet's Grainstack in the Sunlight, Snow Effect from 1891, and explores what fascinated the French artist about the grainstacks.
